Kiner-Falefa is known for his versatility on the field, having played multiple positions including shortstop, third base, and outfield. His most recent stint was with the Toronto Blue Jays, where he participated in 19 regular season games and contributed to the team’s playoff journey, appearing in 15 additional games as they battled their way to the World Series as the runners-up.
The 2025 season kicked off with Kiner-Falefa as part of the Pittsburgh Pirates roster, who had acquired him from Toronto at the 2024 trade deadline. Throughout the entire 2025 season, he played 138 games, showcasing his skills with a batting average of .262, hitting 2 home runs, driving in 40 runs, and scoring 45 times. Additionally, he demonstrated his speed on the bases by successfully stealing 15 bases—a notable achievement for any player.
Having built a solid nine-year career in Major League Baseball, Kiner-Falefa has also donned the uniforms of the Texas Rangers and the New York Yankees.
